Lilac Fire Scorches Mobile Home Park in Fallbrook

Roughly 85 structures were destroyed by the Lilac Fire as of Friday, December 8, and more than 1,000 firefighters were dispatched to combat the San Diego County blaze. The fire grew to 4,100 acres on Friday.NBC San Diego reported a dozen units were destroyed in Fallbrook, California’s Rancho Monserate Mobile Home Park.This video was taken by a firefighter in the mobile home park. He wrote, “These we’re the conditions we faced for about 10 hours yesterday. As the sun went down, the wind got worse. This is our crew saving what will be one of the only trailers left standing on this street. It was a long 24 hours. And we’re back at it today.”On Friday, President Donald Trump approved a disaster relief plan in response to the six wildfires burning in Southern California.
