With the fall of Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, Al Franken, and Matt Lauer, a lot of people have come out to condemn their actions. But a few women have supported their peers – and got slammed for it.

Lena Dunham not only lost social media followers, but employees also, for defending a writer for her hit show after he was accused of sexual assault. After the criticism she backtracked… but her apology didn’t win anyone over.

Whoopi Goldberg lent her support for Bill Cosby after dozens of women accused him of sexual assault. She said she had a lot of questions about one of the women who came forward… and Bill Cosby even publicly thanked her. Even after the charges, Whoopi never apologized for her stance.

Donna Karen found herself in the wrath of Twitter when she alluded that the woman accusing Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault asked for it… because of what they were wearing. She later apologized, but it didn’t seem to help.

Lindsay Lohan defended Weinstein amidst his allegations, saying he never harmed her or did anything to her. Social media followers quickly pointed out that her experiences weren’t the same as everyone else’s.
