Demi Lovato slammed for 'trivializing sexual assault'

Demi Lovato has apologised after being accused of trivializing sexual assault.

The singer was slammed for sharing details of a joke she pulled on her bodyguard, after revealing what the ‘best’ prank she ever played was.

On Twitter Demi revealed that she hired a lady of the night in Vegas and sent her to her bodyguard Max’s hotel room to surprise him.

She added that the woman walked into his room without permission and grabbed him in his 'area', which made Max freak out.

After being criticized for the prank, Demi hit back saying she could tweet about craving jelly beans and it would offend someone.

But she soon backtracked and apologized for causing offence.
