The National Anomaly Committee which was formed to look into the grievances following the 7th Pay Commission recommendations will now meet in December. The meeting scheduled for October was postponed indefinitely due to the elections, sources say. It is now confirmed that the meeting of the NAC to look into the hike in basic minimum pay will now be held in December. All Central Government employees were hoping that the NAC meet would be held in October. 10 Central Trade Unions have begun a dharna outside the Parliament. The relay dharna which begins Thursday will go on till Saturday. The employees are upset with the pathetic attitude of the government which has delayed looking into their demands. The employees have demanded that their 12 point charter of demands be met immediately. The dharna would be for three days. However if the government still fails to cater to their demands, then the employees would call for a nation wide agitation.
