7th Pay Commission : Delay by the government is upsetting the CG Employees | Oneindia News

There is lot of resentment brewing over the 7th Pay Commission. One one hand the central government employees are frustrated over the inordinate delay in hiking the basic minimum pay. On the other, other hand, employees at Rajasthan burnt copies of the 7th Pay Commission recommendations. The government has been back and forth on the basic minimum pay. On one hand it was quick to assure that the issue would be looked into. However on the other it has done nothing to speed up the process. This has led to a great deal of frustration among the CG employees. A meeting of the National Anomaly Committee was to be held in October. However that was postponed and what is worse is that no new date has been fixed. Many officials that we spoke to did not offer any clarity on the dates.
