Tax Transparency Campaigners Project Paul Manafort's Face on IRS Building

Campaigners calling for President Donald Trump to release his tax returns projected a video featuring his indicted former campaign chief Paul Manafort on the IRS building in Washington on Monday, October 30.Manafort and Rick Gates were charged with money laundering and acting as unregistered agents of former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych. Manafort, who was investigated as part of Justice Department Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged Russian interference with the 2016 election, ran Trump’s election campaign from June to August 2016.The White House said the indictment had no connection with the Trump campaign.Tax March have staged a series of demonstrations calling for Trump to stick with a precedent that has stood since the election of President Jimmy Carter that the president will release his tax returns.
