Italian Forces Cross French Border to Refill Water Tanks for Wildfire Fight

Italian firefighters took to the sky on Monday, October 30, flying over the border into France, where they refilled their aircrafts’ water tanks in Lake Moncenisio to aid in the fight against wildfires burning across Northern Italy.The crews provided aerial support against wildfires in the country’s Piedmont region, which have been raging since October 10, according to media reports.
