Paul Manafort plead not guilty after he turned himself in to the Justice Department for lying about his interactions with foreign officials close to the Russian government. Manafort was also indicted on charges that he funneled millions of dollars through overseas shell companies. The charges are a result of a special counsel investigation lead by Robert Mueller, who is looking for a connection between the Trump campaign and Russia. Manafort was required to post a $10 million bond and he was put on house arrest.
