Trump PAC Spends Over $40 Million , on Legal Fees Amid Criminal Charges.
Since the beginning of the year,
Save America, the former president's political
action committee (PAC), has spent over
$40 million on Trump's legal fees, CNN reports. .
That is more than twice the amount that the PAC spent on legal fees in all of last year.
Save America raises the majority of its funds via Trump supporters' small-dollar contributions, CNN reports.
Trump's campaign team insists that the money
spent on legal fees is imperative at this time. .

the Patriot Legal Defense Fund Inc,

The fund will reportedly help to offset bills that some of the former president's affiliates have incurred as part of investigations into Trump.
New charges in the classified documents
case against Trump were brought by
special counsel Jack Smith on July 27.
It is alleged that Trump and his Mar-a-Lago employees conspired to delete security footage pertinent to the case against him.
