Trump Lashes Out At Flake And Corker On Twitter

President Trump on Wednesday continued his attacks on Jeff Flake and Bob Corker.

President Trump continued his attack on two Republican senators Wednesday morning.
"The reason (Jeff) Flake and (Bob) Corker dropped out of the Senate race is very simple, they had zero chance of being elected," Trump tweeted. "Now act so hurt & wounded!"
"Jeff Flake, with an 18% approval rating in Arizona, said 'a lot of my colleagues have spoken out.'" Trump wrote in another tweet. "Really, they just gave me a standing O!"
The president's tweets come in the wake of Senator Flake's announcement Tuesday that he won't seek re-election.
In his Senate retirement speech, Flake delivered a forceful criticism of Trump, saying in part, "reckless, outrageous and undignified behavior has become excused as telling it like it is when it is actually just reckless, outrageous and undignified."
Reacting to Flake's remarks, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders echoed Trump's thoughts during a briefing on Tuesday.
"I think that based on previous statements and certainly based on the lack of support that he has from the people of Arizona, it’s probably a good move,” Sanders told reporters.
