Donald Trump Jr. Lashes Out At Comey On Twitter During Testimony

Donald Trump Jr. slammed James Comey during his testimony on Thursday.

President Trump has refrained from tweeting (so far) during former FBI Director James Comey’s Thursday testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee.
His son, Donald Trump Jr., has not.
He kicked up a tweetstorm regarding the part of the testimony dedicated to the literal, implied, and contextual meanings of the word “hope.”
Senator James Risch read aloud the part of the document Comey provided prior to the hearing that pertains to the former director’s conversation with the president regarding Michael Flynn.
Comey wrote that Trump had said he hoped that Flynn matter could be dropped.
While Comey agreed the word “hope” does not, by strict definition, communicate an order, he says he did interpret the statement at large as one.
Apparently in response to that exchange, Trump Jr. posted a series of tweets:
"1/3 Flynn stuff is BS in context 2 guys talking about a guy they both know well. I hear 'I hope nothing happens but you have to do your job.'"
"2/3 very far from any kind of coercion or influence and certainly not obstruction!"
"3/3 Knowing my father for 39 years when he 'orders or tells' you to do something there is no ambiguity, you will know exactly what he means."
"Hoping and telling are two very different things, you would think that a guy like Comey would know that. #givemeabreak."
