Gene tests can now narrow down breast cancer risk

A gene test can predict a woman's likelihood to develop breast cancer. The test analyzes blood or saliva to examine 18 genetic variants which contribute to breast cancer. The Single Nucleotide Polymorphism will allow women to understand whether they will need a mastectomy or not.
