7th Pay Commission: Double tax free gratuity limit at Rs 20 lakh | Oneindia Kannada

Following the approval of the 7th Pay Commission recommendations, the Union Cabinet made two major announcements on Tuesday. Firstly it approved the release of additional 1 per cent Dearness Allowance for Central Government employees. Secondly the Union Cabinet gave its approval to the introduction of the Payment of Gratuity (Amendment) Bill, 2017, in Parliament."

ತೆರಿಗೆರಹಿತ ಗ್ರಾಚ್ಯುಯಿಟಿ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಸುವ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಮಸೂದೆಗೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರಕಾರ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ (ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 12) ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಆ ಮೂಲಕ ಈಗಿರುವ ಹತ್ತು ಲಕ್ಷ ಮಿತಿಯು ಎರಡು ಪಟ್ಟು ಆದಂತಾಗಿದೆ. "ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಂಪುಟವು ಪೇಮಂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಗ್ರಾಚ್ಯುಯಿಟಿ (ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ) ಮಸೂದೆ, 2017 ಅನ್ನು ಸಂಸತ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಡಿಸಲು ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ" ಎಂದು ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.
