Google fires engineer behind anti-diversity 'manifesto'

Google has fired the employee behind the controversial anti-diversity memo which claimed women's "biological issues" prevent them from being as successful as men in tech. “To suggest a group of our colleagues have traits that make them less biologically suited to that work is offensive and not OK," Google CEO Sundar Pichai The "manifesto" went viral within the company before picking up public backlash.
