At least four people were injured, one critically, following an explosion at a Panimex factory in Santiago, Chile, on July 12.Local reports said initial investigations indicated the explosion originated in a boiler in an engine room. It was the third fire at the chemical factory in recent years, including one in 2013 and one in 2014.The Panimex Química company is involved in the production and commercialization of plasticizers, phthalic anhydride and fumaric acid, according to its LinkedIn page.
