'Wild Ride' for Passengers Into Wellington Airport During Storm

Passengers aboard a plane from Auckland to Wellington had a bumpy ride amid a strong winter storm on July 13.This video shows an Air New Zealand plane making a battered approach into the Wellington Airport. The flight from Auckland was able to land on its second attempt, according to the author of the footage.Regional flights were suspended in and out of the airport, where winds reaching up to 109 kph.
