Patton Oswalt Shrugs Off the Critics of His Engagement

Patton Oswalt has a message for all there critics out there sounding off at his engagement.
The 48-year-old comedian used his social media account to share a blog post by a woman defending their decision to get married… and in his Facebook post, Patton called the critics bitter grub worms, and said he decided to ignore them…
But he did point out that he felt this rage… and this woman with the post, articulated it better than he could have ever hoped.
In the lengthy post, the author wrote that the critics aren’t entitled to an opinion, and they don’t get to comment on the choices of a widower while you sit happily next to your own living spouse.
Then she added you should go back to scrolling Facebook and keep your ignorance to yourself.
Patton lost his wife in April 2016 from an undiagnosed heart condition combined with prescription medication.
He announced his engagement to Meredith Salenger just last week.
