Congrats to Patton Oswalt and his fiancée, Meredith Salenger, who are engaged!
In fact, Meredith just posted this picture of her saying “I don’t wanna brag… But check out the size of The Rock on my finger!”
It’s extremely refreshing to see the happy couple both on the red carpet, and via Social Media, in what appears to be a very happy state of mind.
Oswalt fans are well aware this news comes just 15 months after his wife, Michelle McNamara, unexpectedly passed away in her sleep. Since that heartbreaking tragedy, Oswalt has been vocal about his deep grief and months of despair in the weeks and months that followed.
But according to People magazine, Salenger came along and “they started chatting as friends and it blossomed from there… they’re very happy.”
Patton and Meredith certainly have a lot of followers rooting for them.
