In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
Allah tasketh not a soul beyond its scope. For it (is only) that which it hath earned, and against it (only) that which it hath deserved. Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget, or miss the mark! Our Lord! Lay not on us such a burden as thou didst lay on those before us! Our Lord! Impose not on us that which we have not the strength to bear! Pardon us, absolve us and have mercy on us, Thou, our Protector, and give us victory over the disbelieving

Au nom de Dieu, le Miséricordieux, le Clément.

Dieu n'impose à une âme que ce qu'elle peut supporter. Ce qu'elle se sera acquis lui reviendra et ce en quoi elle aura démérité lui sera à charge. Notre Seigneur ! Ne nous tiens pas rigueur pour des omissions ou des erreurs. Notre Seigneur ! Ne nous charge pas d'un fardeau tel que celui dont tu as chargé ceux qui nous ont précédés. Notre Seigneur ! Ne nous charge pas de ce que nous ne sommes pas capables de porter. Efface nos fautes, pardonne-nous et fais-nous miséricorde ! Toi qui es notre Maître, secoursnous contre les mécréants !

Im Namen Allahs, des Gnädigen, des Barmherzigen.

Allah betastet niemanden über sein Vermögen. Ihm wird, was er verdient, und über ihn kommt, was er gesündigt. «Unser Herr, strafe uns nicht, wenn wir uns vergessen oder vergangen haben; unser Herr, lege uns nicht eine Verantwortung auf, wie Du sie denen auferlegtest, die vor uns waren. Unser Herr, bürde uns nicht auf, wozu wir nicht die Kraft haben, und lösche unsere Sünden aus und gewähre uns Vergebung und habe Erbarmen mit uns; Du bist unser Meister; also hilf uns wider das ungläubige Volk.»

Alá no pide nada a nadie más allá de sus posibilidades. Lo que uno haya hecho redundará en su propio bien o en su propio mal. Señor! No castigues nuestros olvidos o nuestras faltas! Señor! No nos impongas una carga como la que impusiste a quienes nos precedieron! Señor! No nos impongas más allá de nuestras fuerzas! Y absuélvenos, perdónanos, apiádate d nosotros! Tú eres nuestro Protector! Auxílianos contra el pueblo infiel!

И не возложит Бог на душу груз, Что больше, чем она поднимет; Окупит доброе Он ей сполна, Сполна накажет за дурное. «Владыка наш! Ты пощади нас, Коли забудемся и упадем во грех! Владыка наш! Не возложи те тяготы на нас, Что возложил на тех, которые до нас (грешили). Владыка наш! Не положи на плечи нам тот груз, Поднять который нету мо’чи! Прости нам и пошли Свое прощенье, Будь милостивым к нам! Ты — Покровитель наш, Так помоги же нам против неверных».
