Former NFL player Ahman Green arrested on child abuse charges

The Green Bay Press-Gazette reported that Sunday Ahman Green, former running back or the Green Bay Packers, was arrested on child abuse charges. Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation while Green's official charge has been released as 'child abuse - intentionally cause harm/cruelty toward child.' Green played for the Packers from 2000 to 2006, before bedoming a free agent and then returning to Green Bay in 2009 for one season. In 2014, he was inducted into the Green Bay hall of fame and is known as the leading rusher in the franchise's history.
