Johnny Depp Refused to Sell His Private Plane

Johnny Depp is reportedly in financial peril and he offered to sell his pricey possessions to fix the problem… but don’t even think about taking his private plane.

The 54 year old actor is locked in a legal battle with his former business partners, alleging that they mismanaged his money.

According to reports, Depp and the principal at The Management Group exchanged an email in 2009 where he said he would sell off some art, bikes, cars, property, books, and paintings.

But when it came to hawking his plane, he put his foot down.

Depp wrote that a commercial flight with the paparazzi in tow would be a nightmare of monumental proportions.

He also added the he knew the Rum Diary would be a sacrifice and the last proper paycheck was Public Enemies at the time.

Depp reportedly made a combined 75 million dollars in 2010… but he’s claiming his business managers squandered his earnings.

They are countersuing him, saying he was aware of the dire situation the whole time.
