Christina and Tarek El Moussa Sued for $37,800

The stars of HGTV’s Flip or Flop, Christina and Tarek El Moussa are getting sued.
That’s right, it’s been a pretty bad year for the former couple, and this probably is going to help matters any.
According to repors, the El Moussa’s are being taken to task by a former employee who claims that the stars failed to pay him for finding five homes for them to flip in North Carolina. He reportedly worked for the couple for about 8 months in 2016, and his job was to find properties for the couple to work on.
In his legal docs, he claims that the show was going to expand from California to North Carolina, and he s currently seeking a total of 37,800 dollars.
The El Moussa’s, their business partner, HGTV, and their parent company are all named in the suit.
A rep for the network said they are aware of the lawsuit but has yet to provide a comment.
A rep for Christina has also declined to comment on the matter.
