Puasa for Malaysia

In light of the furore surrounding whether non-muslims should or should not break fast with Muslims in Malaysia, a group of Malaysians made up of different racial and religious backgrounds have decided to hold a joint sahur and breaking fast event on the same day.

The stillness of night was broken by the noises coming from Pelita restaurant in Bangsar.

At 4am, the restaurant was filled to the brim with people chatting away over their meals and two groups amounting to twenty individuals were there to support a campaign aimed at uniting the nation, Puasa for Malaysia.
