President Trump's proposed budget, which will be released on Tuesday, reportedly includes $800 billion in Medicaid cuts. The $800 billion reduction was confirmed to CNN by a senior administration official. The House legislation that strives to dismantle President Barack Obama's Affordable Care Act would also halt federal support for Medicaid. The bill currently covers more than 70 million low-income children, adults, disabled Americans, and the elderly.
