The state of Illinois loves Barack Obama. August 4 is now 'Barack Obama Day' in Illinois thanks to a signed measure by Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner. The holiday will recognize Obama's career serving in the Illinois State Senate and as the POTUS. "I don't think it should be a formal holiday with paid, forced time off, but I think it should be a day of acknowledgment and celebration.
