As angry demonstrators gathered outside the Greek parliament in Athens, politicians voted on May 18 to approve a new round of austerity measures demanded by creditors before the release of a €7.5 billion tranche of the country’s bailout.Protesters rallied in Syntagma Square for a second day of protests against new pension cuts and the scrapping of tax breaks. A small group of protesters hurled Molotov cocktails, as seen in this footage, while riot police fired tear gas.On Wednesday, thousands walked out of their jobs and marched to parliament to show their opposition to the bailout demands.
