A 101-year-old veteran of the D-day landings on Sunday, May 14, reportedly became the oldest person in the world to skydive.Bryson William Verdun Hayes, a former Royal Signals lance corporal, completed the tandem jump from 15,000ft at an airfield in Honiton, Devon.A spokesman for the Royal British Legion told the Guardian that Hayes would be celebrating with a glass of champagne.
