Hundreds of Canadian soldiers helped those displaced by flooding in Quebec and Ontario communities on Monday, May 8. Laval, Quebec, was among the towns that declared a state of emergency because of the ongoing problems following heavy rain.Soldiers were creating dyke barriers while filling sandbags with local emergency workers.
