Burnham becomes Greater Manchester's first elected Mayor

Andy Burnham has been elected as Mayor for Greater Manchester. He was elected with 63.4% of the vote, receiving 359,352 votes. He said this would be a new opportunity to offer a new kind of politics and promises to end rough sleeping in the city. He stepped down as an MP on Friday 3rd May. Report by Pagead.
