Lilian Tintori and Kids Sing Happy Birthday To Jailed Leader Leopoldo Lopez Outside of Prison

Lilian Tintori, the wife of jailed opposition political leader Leopoldo Lopez, took her kids to the outside walls of his prison to celebrate her husband’s birthday on Saturday, April 29.Lopez’s mother also accompanied Tintori and sang happy birthday with a giant cake while guards watched them closely.Lopez is currently serving a nearly 14-year sentence in the Ramo Verde military prison after being charged with arson, vandalism, inciting violence and hatred and being part of a criminal organization in relation to violent protests in 2014.
