Wife of Leopoldo Lopez Marches in Anti-Maduro Protest in Caracas

Hundreds of protesters, including Lilian Tintori, activist and wife of Venezuelan opposition leader Leopoldo Lopez, marched in the streets of Caracas, Venezuela, on April 4 to protest President Nicolas Maduro and the Venezuelan Supreme Court.On March 30 the Supreme Court in Caracas moved to take power from Venezuela’s elected National Assembly, which was led by parties opposed to Maduro and has been critical of his policies. The move drew criticism and condemnation from Venezuelan opposition politicians and international governments alike.
