Chennai Floods : 188 killed, Airport closed, trains cancelled

Chennai is going through its worst times times as rains are pouring non stop leaving many areas flooded. It has recorded 374 mm of rainfall in a span of 24 hours. Flight operations have been indefinitely suspended at the airport, trains have been cancelled. the army is helping rescue stranded people. The Chennai Corporation has announced Emergency Contact Numbers State Emergency - 1070; District Emergency - 1077; Electricity - 1912.
