Chennai Floods : Modi's edited image slammed, PIB deletes after embarrassment

Yesterday press information of bureau faced much criticism after it posted a fake and photoshopped image of prime minister Narendra Modi on its website. The image showed Mr. Modi in a helicopter during an aerial survey of flood-hit Chennai. The bureau initially retweeted the prime minister's photo of himself looking through a plane window, with submerged fields and buildings visible. Hours later, they tweeted the same image again, but with a much clearer scene crudely pasted on to the window. The image was removed after the blunder was spoted
