Tamil Nadu polls : Thanjavur constituency polls postponed to May 23, Here's why | Oneindia News

Election Commission has postponed the polls in Thanjavur constituency to May 23. The orders were issued late on Sunday following seizure of huge sums of cash and reports about large-scale distribution of money to voters. On Saturday, the EC had similarly ordered postponement of voting in the Aravakuruchi constituency. The counting of votes will take place on May 25 May, instead of May 19 as scheduled earlier.
