Since Angelina Jolie took her kids with her to film "First They Killed my Father" in Cambodia, many assumed it was the perfect escape from Brad Pitt after their shaky split.

But according to E! Online, the foreign country became more of a connecting place for Brad to secretly visit his family.

Brad apparently took a number of trips to Cambodia to share custody of his six children, and spent the majority of his time there when his own projects didn’t conflict.

Angelina still reportedly had custody 75 percent of the time, but when he'd visit, the kids would divide their time with him and also make special trips to see him in Los Angeles.

This may come as a surprise to some fans that believed Angelina was keeping her children from their father, especially after the tumultuous start to their divorce proceedings.

It's great to know that Angelina and Brad are making a global effort to keep the peace for their kids.
