President Donald Trump delivered his first speech to Congress Tuesday, speaking of a"new chapter of American greatness." The Republican took on an inspirational tone, condemning vandalism of Jewish cemeteries and the shooting of two Indian men in Kansas. The president also touched base on immigration, vowing to make U.S. communities safer by enforcing stricter laws. In an emotional twist to his speech, he addressed Carryn Owens, the widow of a US Navy Special operator, William "Ryan" Owens who was killed during an anti-terror raid in Yemen.
