Normally Joaquin Phoenix and Rooney Mara are pretty private celebrities, but in the few pictures we have of them, there’s no denying their affection for one another. ‘
And now the New York Post’s Page Six is reporting that it’s serious.
According to Page Six, “They are madly in love… His friends are like, ‘Forget it, it is on.’”
Apparently the 42-year-old met the 31-year-old while starring together in the upcoming film, Mary Magdalene, where Rooney plays the biblical lead and Joaquin plays Jesus.
Page Six also reports that they have vacationed at a desert spa together during the Golden Globes, and as we’ve already seen, they even go grocery shopping together!
Rooney and Joaquin aren’t the most social of celebrities when they’re in front of our cameras, but apparently they’ve connected on that level.
Joaquin has actually found his Her in real life.
