President Trump lashed out at Nordstrom in a tweet on Wednesday.

Nordstrom announced late last week that it would no longer be carrying Ivanka Trump branded merchandise, citing sagging sales as the reason, reports CNN Money.
President Trump posted a tweet on Wednesday morning, lashing out at the retailer.
He wrote, “My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom. She is a great person -- always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!”
The retailer has stated that the decision was just business.
A Nordstrom spokesperson told Business Insider, “Each year we cut about 10% [of brands carried] and refresh our assortment with about the same amount. In this case, based on the brand's performance we've decided not to buy it for this season."
Shortly after the tape of Donald Trump boasting about grabbing women’s genitals emerged, an online campaign called for a boycott of Trump-branded merchandise and the companies that sell it.
As the campaign gained momentum, Nordstrom said via Twitter, “We hope that offering a vendor's products isn't misunderstood as us taking a political position; we're not…our customers can make choices about what they purchase based on personal views & we'll continue to give them options.”
