Michael Moore Lashes Out At Trump Over Flynn Fiasco

Former national security adviser Michael Flynn resigned Monday over reports that he had premature, sanction-related talks with a Russian ambassador, notes CNN.
Many feel that was far from the end of the situation and Michael Moore is among them.
In a series of tweets, Moore wrote on Tuesday, “Let's be VERY clear: Flynn DID NOT make that Russian call on his own. He was INSTRUCTED to do so. He was TOLD to reassure them. Arrest Trump…The Washington Post & NY Times now reporting Trump HAS KNOWN FOR A MONTH Flynn lied about the Russian call - and Trump did nothing.”
The filmmaker also commented, “Fondly remembering traitor Michael Flynn at the Republican convention leading the cheer from the stage: ‘LOCK HER UP.’”
Moore is not alone in demanding that further action be taken.
Senators and Representatives from both parties are demanding classified briefings and thorough examinations of the Trump administration-Russia relationship.
Among those calling for the inquiry are Senators Mark Warner and Roy Blunt, both of whom are members of the Senate Intelligence Committee.
Representatives John Conyers Jr. and Elijah E. Cummings have spoken out as well, saying in a joint statement, “We need to know who else within the White House is a current and ongoing risk to our national security.”
