Bad news has been delivered to the Denver Broncos regarding running back C.J. Anderson and his knee injury from Monday night's game. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported that Anderson told people close to him that he's done for the season and that he will have surgery on his torn meniscus on Thursday, and will be placed on injured reserve. The running back initially denied the report, writing "false" on Twitter, but then later deleted the posts. Later on Thursday, Anderson tweeted out a statement thanking his family, teammates and fans for their support.
