‘Grab them by the pu**y’ remarks could doom Donald Trump campaign

WASHINGTON — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump bragged about groping and forcing himself on women during a 2005 conversation caught on a hot microphone, saying: “When you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the p***y. You can do anything.”

The comments—revolting by anyone’s standards, in a political season where Trump has re-calibrated standards lower and lower—could cost the billionaire businessman his spot at the top of the GOP ticket.

House Speaker Paul Ryan was forced to cancel an appearance with Trump in Wisconsin, though he has yet to rescind his support.

Meanwhile, several Republicans denounced Trump and others said he should be replaced. They include Colorado representative Mike Coffman, Utah representative Jason Chaffetz, Utah governor Jon Huntsman, Utah senator Mike Lee and Illinois senator Mark Kirk.

Trump made the comments after conducting an interview with Access Hollywood host Billy Bush. A recording of a hot microphone conversation was leaked to the Washington Post, which published the video on Friday.

WHAT TRUMP SAID:
You know and I moved on her actually (Nancy O’Dell). You know she was down on Palm Beach. I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it. I did try and f*** her, she was married. And I moved on her very heavily in fact I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said: I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture. I took her out for furniture. I moved on her like a b***h, but I couldn’t get there, and she was married … You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful – I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the p***y. You can do anything.
