The New Orleans Saints are traveling in week two to meet the New York Giants in an NFL pro football game on tap for Sunday.

Notes: The Saints are 0-1 with the 35-34 home defeat to the Oakland Raiders as a -2 ½ point favorite. The total finished at over 50 points. They blew a 24-13 lead after three quarters as they allowed Oakland 22 fourth quarter points. The game came down to a Raiders successful two point conversion with 47 seconds remaining. The Saints put up monster offensive numbers finishing with 507 yards. Drew Brees couldn’t do much better hitting on 28 of 42 passes for 423 yards with four touchdowns. The Saints defense was bad last year and in Game 1 of this year as they allowed 386 yards to the Raiders offense with 167 rushing on 26 carries.

New York Giants are 1-0 following the 20-19 road victory to the Dallas Cowboys as a +1 point underdog. The total went under 47 ½ points. The Giants defense showed some definite improvement from last year by allowing 328 yards to the Cowboys offense. New York was able to win the game with the defense on the field preventing a scoring chance for Dallas. Eli Manning hit on 19 of 28 passes for 207 yards with three touchdowns and a pick. New York was 3 of 3 inside the red zone. Victor Cruz caught the game winning touchdown with six minutes remaining.
