The Giants were up 10-0 after one quarter. Eli Manning did not play so that meant work for backup Ryan Nassib who completed 7 of 15 passes for 75 yards and two picks. Over on defense the team allowed the Dolphins offense 296 yards with 192 to the passing game.

Buffalo is 0-1 in the preseason following the 19-18 home defeat to the Indianapolis Colts as a -2 ½ point betting favorite. The total finished at over 36 points. The Bills were up 9-0 after one quarter. They moved the football effectively with 370 yards for the game with 246 through the air. Rookie Cardale Jones in his NFL debut hit on 11 of 21 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown. They stuffed the Colts run game for only 30 yards on 23 carries and allowed 244 yards passing.
