Duterte wants US forces out of southern Philippines

Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte announced Monday that he wants U.S. Special Forces out of southern Philippines . He also blamed America for inflaming Muslim insurgencies in the region. This was his first public statement opposing the presence of U.S. troops. Washington has not received a formal request to remove U.S. military personnel and Duterte hasn’t specified how he plans to pursue his wishes.
