Ahmedabad : Thousands of devotees with copper pots on their heads participated in the traditional Jal Yatra. A precursor of the Rath Yatra, the procession began from Jagannath Temple in Jamalpur. Apart from sea of devotees, the procession was dotted with elephants.Lord Jagannath's idol was taken to Sabarmati river for a holy bath, which indicates that he is ready for the Rath Yatra.
