1951 BOWERY BATALLION TRAILER - LEO GIORCEY, HUNTZ HALL

While the Korean War raged, Gorcey, Hall and group were featured in four service comedies between 1951 and 1953: BOWERY BATTALION (1951), LET'S GO NAVY (1951), HERE COME THE MARINES (1952) and CLIPPED WINGS (1953). Like this film, which was shot in six days, all were quickly filmed on modest budgets with an eye toward profitably. And profitable they were!! Another 27 Bowery Boys programmers would be released before the series was finally halted in 1958.
