Whoa ! If any of you actually thought Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are again going to get into a cosy romance like Shaandaar then you are highly mistaken for their upcoming Udta Punjab is a far cry from romance. The trailer shows them as part of a huge drug racket and comes across as a gritty thriller.

Alia is seen paired with Shahid, and Diljit the Punjab Da Kuda would be romancing Kareena. Well the quartet are not a love Jodi but are shown dealing with the drug racket and the drug abuse in Punjab. Abhishek Chaubey seemingly has done justice at least by the looks of the trailer. The background is eerie and filled with a lot of suspense.
With the entry of Diljit Dosanjh as a tough cop we are getting closer to the heartland of India hai na? Watch out for the trailer.
