Shahid kapoor after many rom-coms has diverted to intense genre which has worked very well for him in the past. He took up to twitter and shared the first motion poster of his upcoming movie UDTA PUNJAAB. Actor has lost oodles of weight to fit into the character which is whacko and entertaining. He portrays a rockstar who gets entangled in the drug controversy.

The movie runs on the lines of three stories which a parallel running in and out that of Shahid, Alia Bhatt and kareena kapoor khan. The logo itself looks gritty,powerful and also has dark side to it. The first trailer will be out on april 16th. Directed by Abhishek Chaubey of kaminey fame and will hit the theatres on 17th June 2016. Looks like its definately gonna an exciting movie for the movie goers and one shouldn’t miss it.
