CDC recently assessed the percentage of residents in each state getting the recommended 7 hours of nightly sleep.

New York is often called the city that never sleeps, but according to a CDC report, it’s not alone.
The government agency recently assessed the percentage of residents in each state getting the recommended 7 hours of nightly rest. 
Hawaiians fared the worst, with only 56.1% of those surveyed saying they do, indeed, clock enough Z’s to meet the CDC standard. 
Residents of Kentucky and Maryland didn’t fare much better, with only 60.3 and 61.1 percent, respectively, coming in at or above the threshold.
