Protesters in Bangui demand cancellation of first round results

Protesters mainly affiliated with Désiré Kolingba and Martin Ziguélé, who arrived third and fourth in the presidential race and are contesting the results, marched to the UN mission’s headquarters in Bangui on Friday to demand the cancellation of the first round of the presidential election and to hand over a memorandum to UN officials.
